We Got This!
: well almost
Well Almost! This morning I got up before the crack of dawn to get ready for work, I had just lay there for a couple hours previous with my mind ruminating on the challenges we face as individuals, communities, and groups. (it didn't help that I went to bed in deep consideration of the first two verses of the Koran in Arabic) It was a busy day at the restaurant, I didn't get to stop for about 5 hours solid.. it was just me and the cook. Had to go pee in a cup for a job i'm changing to next week, and then I was home.
All this time, I was thinking of the Syriac Word "Malkutah" often translated as Kingdom in the Christian Scrips. .. but has much more to do with our higher selves being united with the Ruling Principle of the Universe (Love.. though on many days it certainly doesn't feel it is.. the Ruling) You see I wanted to counter the pull I, we, many of us feel these days.. to deconstruct, to be alarmed, or simply say Oh Shite again?
Sufi writer Neil Douglas Klotz on the Lord's Prayer describes Malkutah as the "I Can," But that misses it for me. Here's some of my notes inspired from digging a little into some of Klotz latest book "Revelations of the Aramaic Jesus"
Malkutah is not I can. it is the reign of the more divine. Our higher selves in consort with the Sacred Spirit moving life towards the Christo-Genesis (Teilard Chardin). It involves no's and maybe's much more than yes's .. think about the scrips which talk about "you don't get what you prayer for because of selfish intent".. or "if you offer at the altar, first make things whole with your brother .."
the Malkutah reign enacting is holding out for the "We Can" of the Cosmos, (Yeshua + Us). Attendance and Opening to the vision and energy throughout the Universes.
It's waves, frequencies, sound, and vibrational fields all converging in his "body:" all those who do and have served that behavioral set of Love that He is.
It could start with a holy pause in the moment or situation, a stepping back to observe.
Feeling our heartbeats and the rythms of our breathing. Connecting with another's frailty, joy, discomfort, and confusion. Nature too: plants, animals, weather patterns. All allow for deeper empowerment into the streams and rays of the our "We Can." So the Prince of All (Yeshua) is not limited to a single point, place of person.. much less a group, organization, or institution.
The invitation of Malkutah is not to pulverize one's opposition, but rather to find a further depth connection for our souls. It could be said that once there and shared we are participating in the deepest Reality.
A way to think about this is to consider our superficial attachments to things, people and ideas, the ancients would call this being distracted by the appearances. These are veils, self accepted and imposed, which when we tire of them, we can let go of. So much of those things are about an ability to control, manipulate, and design for our pleasure or satisfaction, but they are too fleeting.
The selfie culture I'm sure we can agree is the culture's unhealthy sticky web. We could call these sins if it would help, but really they reflect an unripe soul's desires.
Can you Ripen, when you find that you can't hold much consciously? Drained and feeling listless your inner bankruptcy almost overwhelms, until there's a shift in consciousness: what you truly offer arises from a very different place, the "We Can" of the deepest Reality of Being.
Can you Ripen when the hunger pains for sense and meaning are so intimate to you right now? There's nothing that can be consumed and will be satisfying, where can you place your hands and feet to steady? Hold on, good luck!
When in fact just at that time the shift can hit you over again, show you are actually living within a realm of deeper fullness, the Heart of Hearts somehow.
Can You Ripen when your heart is pulled so far from you, wrung dry by life's fingers. When you are on another plane being led and freed by the Hand of Life itself, Energy and lightness is yours coming into even larger life.
"We Got This!"
then I saw this on my Youtube suggestions, a little song by one of my newer fave groups Deep South. It reminded me of some of what Mark and Leilani were bringing up in their Posts...
